Holiday Romance!

It was the first time
I had been abroad,
My first time out in Spain,
I saw her by the swimming pool
But I didn’t know her name.
Her gorgeous hair!
Her pretty face!
I tried to catch her eye,
I really had to talk to her
But I was far too shy!

But then one day
Down on the beach just staring at the view
The girl appeared and boldly said,
‘Comment allez vouz?’*
I shot straight up and ran away
And then hid behind a bench
Some girls are hard enough to face
But this one
She was FRENCH!
